Meet Miss Tamera... and her Purple Pig!!

I WON'T leave home without him!!


All right Piggy... break time's over! Let's go for a walk!!

   
Walking in the sun is such fun!!  Piggy agrees!!

Tamera came in from a shelter in NC with a younger Doberman who is suspected is her daughter. Like most dogs who come in from this area they are both heartworm positive. Tamera took a while to warm up to the other dogs in her foster home but is doing much better. There is a cute red boy she likes but there is a younger dog that she isn’t so found of. It’s believed that she is done with the puppy stuff and wants to live a quiet life now. She is a bit of a thief and will steal earbuds, leashes, shoes, etc…and hide them in her crate. But, like her daughter Tia she has the dobie smile that lets her get away with it. Someone along the transport to rescue gave her a pig toy that she does not like to let go of. She keeps it with her at all times and does not allow anyone to take it away. It’s very endearing. On the way to her foster home the pig was taken and she was not happy refusing to get out of the car unit it was given back!!

Special Needs If Any: Her heartworm will treated and then all she'll need is love and inexpensive thyroid meds for hypothyroidism.

Geographic areas you adopt to: Once cleared of HW, Kentucky and surrounding states and will adopt outside that area if a home visit can be arranged and the people are willing to travel to meet the Dobe in their foster home.
