Meet General Ike!!

I LOVE PUSSY CATS!!  Give us a kiss sweetie pie!!

TThis dapper gentleman is Ike. He’s 10 years old but no one has told him so the rescue is keeping it a secret. Ike’s owner fell ill and was no longer able to care for him. In his foster home he’s having fun playing with other dogs but any youngsters who want to play too rough and bump into him are a bit too much for Ike. Ike prefers to snuggle with his people rather than be out playing with other dogs. Ie’s great on a leash but at 84 pounds he is a lot to handle if he wants to pull you somewhere. Ike had never been around cats before so he had a quick cat test which he passed. That’s not to say if he lived with a kitty he wouldn’t change his mind. Ike needs a nice quiet home to spend his retirement years in. One where he can be spoiled!

Geographic areas you adopt to:  Kentucky and surrounding states and will adopt outside that area if a home visit can be arranged and the people are willing to travel to meet the Dobe in their foster home.
