OK... I'll be taking a nap while I wait!!

Eight year old Ernest came to Bluegrass Doberman Rescue from a shelter in Georgia. He and many other dogs were seized by Animal Control from a hoarding situation. Upon arrival he was heartworm positive, had a fever, and a torn cruciate, and arthritis. Before he can have his surgery on his cruciate the vet wants to get his fever diagnosed or gone and his heartworms treated. Once he’s healthy and has all his medical problems treated he will be ready for adoption. Ernest is the sweetest Senior boy who loves all people and gets along with both cats and other dogs. He prefers to rest in his bed while chewing on his bone and prefers that his meals be brought to him. He is loving all the spoiling he’s getting!

Geographic Adoption Area: Kentucky and surrounding states but will adopt outside that area if a home visit can be arranged and the people are willing to travel to meet the Dobe in their foster home.
