Meet Miss Cammy! 

...I was sick alright - sick of garage lock-up!!

Well OKAY then!!  Ready when you are!!

Sweet 7 year old Cammy was pulled from a shelter where she was surrendered by her owner because she was throwing up and wouldn’t eat for 4 days. After she was pulled from the shelter she sent some time with a vet and quickly improved. The best guess is she’d been locked up in a garage where the floors had been cleaned with some type of bleach/cleaning agent that might have made her sick or perhaps she’d gotten into something in the garage that made her ill. Either way, She was feeling much better after leaving the vet and getting a good bath to get all the grime off of her. She is very energetic and loves to be with her people. She gets upset when that person gets out of her site but this should improve once she’s in a safe and loving home. She is getting along well with the cats in her foster home and doing OK with the dogs in the home but is very pushy and dominant. She needs to gain some weight and will then be spayed. Then she will be ready to find a loving home who will cherish her as a member of their family and not just use her as a puppy making machine.

Geographic Adoption Area: Kentucky and surrounding states but will adopt outside that area if a home visit can be arranged and the people are willing to travel to meet the Dobe in their foster home.
