Zara
is a very loving and calm 8 year-old Senior who was dumped
at a southern shelter but quickly pulled by the Doberman
Assistance Network. She was treated for heartworm in her
South Carolina foster home and has just arrived to her Illinois
foster home. Zara is housebroken and has made herself right
at home. She loves to learn commands, such as sitting for
meals/treats and doing a sit/stay on command. She enjoys
car rides and gets happy when you pull out her leash and
collar. She gets along well with other dogs and seems good
with cats. Overall, Zara is an easy girl but she doesn’t
like to be crated and has anxiety when left alone. She should
be fine in a home with children 7 and up.
