Meet Wick!

If love, loyalty, affection, obedience and (can we say it?) absolute gorgeousness is your idea of the perfect dog, than this is the dog
for you! Meet Wick! Wick is a happy go lucky guy whose owner was forced to to drop his beloved pet of 7 years off at a shelter.

Whenever we run across a senior at a shelter, we wonder, "why would someone get rid of such a great dog after having him so long?" This time the reason was recorded by the shelter--unfortunately a reason we are starting to see all too often "insurance company threatened to cancel homeowner's insurance due to breed of dog." A nasty or vicious Doberman? Nope, a well-socialized dog who has never bitten or menaced any one. And don't let Wick's "senior" status fool you! Wiggly and sweet, he is 7 years old and still full of energy. Wick always keeps his eye on and sticks close to his person, is always very alert and just wants someone to love and to love him forever! He is good with small dogs and is currently living with 2 large male dogs who he also does great with but Wick is NOT good with cats.
