Meet Mr. Shane!! Another Senior dumped in the prime of his full LOVING potential!! "Ahhhh! Love and a warm blankie over my head!!" This is how this Senior Gent wants to live!! I've got a blankie now... how about some Forever Love?? Shane is an 8 year-old Senior boy who was turned into a rural shelter by his owner with no reason given. He had several growths on his face and back and a large tumor on his abdomen. The vet has removed them and they were all benign fatty tumors. He is healing form extensive surgery now. He is also a little arthritic in the hind end, which the vet said is from old ACL tears in both knees that are too old to repair so he cannot do many stairs. He has not yet been assessed with cats or other dogs at the rescue but he did get along with the dogs in this temporary foster home before coming to IDR. He loves to nap in his bed with a blanket over his head and of course, loves all the human attention that comes his way. Special Needs if any: A home with few or no stairs.
