Sweet Ruby is an eight year old dobie girl
confiscated with many other dogs from a a hoarding situation.
She loves everyone she meets and will snuggle all day if
you have time. She LOVES food and does the "happy dance"
at meal times. Ruby is a low energy Doberman and with her
coming from a hoarder, she is so excited to have her own
soft doggie bed to relax on, she is content to spend most
of the day there just watching everything that goes on around
her while taking lots of naps. Ruby was recently diagnosed
with degenerative spinal disease and while there is no cure
she has benefited from recently started chiropractic treatment.
With this she is turning into a new dog. She use to have
bad days with intense pain but she hasn't had one since
she began treatment. Due to her spinal issues she cannot
hold her urine for a full eight hour work day but does fine
for periods of six hours or less. She is seeking an adoptive
home where she can have the chance to be "just a dog".
Special Needs: Due to spinal issues can only
hold her urine for around six hours and could continue to
benefit from on going chiropractic treatment for pain control.
