Meet
Mr. Nikko!!
Pssst!
Am I handsome or what??
Handsome Nikko is an 8 year-old Senior boy
who was adopted from IDR back in 2003 but due to disability,
divorce, and financial hardships his owner has, although,
broken hearted, returned him to rescue. He has been well
cared for and has lived in a home where he did well with
adults, children, toddlers, cats and other dogs. Nikko is
a happy, well-behaved, bright, loving, affectionate boy.
He loves hugs, kisses, treats, balls, playing in the yard
and laying in the sun. Although he is an older boy, he is
very active and requires a fenced yard to run and burn off
energy. Nikko is great on a leash and is a very good watchdog.
He will alert you to visitors but will stop barking once
told "no". He knows all basic commands, does not
get on the furniture, does not counter surf, and rides well
in the car. He does well with other dogs but is alpha so
would do best with a female or as an only dog. Nikko is
such a character he will fill your heart with joy but does
have a fetish for Kleenix tissues and will eat them if he
can get to them. He is truly a treasure and would make a
phenomenal addition to any family willing to open their
hearts and home to him.
