Meet Miss Maya and her tumor :((!! Tumor NO MORE!! Now, nothing but fun in the sun... and... Aaaaaaah!! Splendor in the grass!! This blue sweetheart of a 7 year-old Senior girl was pulled from a high kill shelter in North Carolina where she was listed for "Rescue Only" due to an enormous mammary tumor. The tumor was so heavy she had to wear a belly band to keep it's weight from damaging her skin any further when it was allowed to hang loose. Now that it's been removed Maya is an active Senior who loves to run and play. She gets along well with other dogs, adults, and kids. As a blue, she has a thin coat, but that only means less vacuuming! Maya would be a great addition to any family as long as they don't have cats.
