Miss Liza!! Miss Congeniality!!

Liza is a beautiful 8 year old lady and she knows no stranger! She is the sweetest girl and will use your lap as a pillow if you let her! Snuggling and being petted is number one on her agenda. She came to us when her former owners dropped her off at the shelter because she didn’t appreciate their small dog’s company. Despite being left behind, she is truly the sweetest girl and her little nubby wiggles non-stop! In fact, her foster mom has already nicknamed her Wiggles since she’s constantly wiggling her booty in delight! She is most definitely a velcro-Dobe and loves to lean up against any person but is very polite and doesn’t need to climb all over your lap. She is okay with laid back dogs that aren’t up in her face, but no small dogs, goats, or chickens for this girl. She has been accepting of the felines in her foster home but her foster mom is taking things slowly with her introductions. She is an easy walker and doesn’t try to pull hard or jump up. She has lovely manners and just wants attention in return. She is a smart lady and will sit and give paw. She is completely housebroken and can do a full workday. She is quiet in her crate and willingly walks in with a simple point of the finger and soft ‘come on’ to direct her. Her history with children is limited but we’re confident she’ll make a great companion for older children and adults. Email dobes@ildoberescue.com.
