Klaus
Klaus is a TERRIFIC companion who is looking for
a loving home that can tolerate a completely housebroken, reliable,
well-mannered, leash trained, dog- and cat-friendly, and quiet
guy who doesn't jump on people, the furniture, tear your carpeting
up, etc. You've got it -- it's hard to find anything wrong with
Klaus.
He was turned into rescue by his former owners when
they didn't feel like he was adjusting well to their 8 month old
twins. As you will see when we post his pictures, he is good looking,
black, cropped and docked, and quite overweight, further proof
that he was a good dog and particularly skilled at looking hopeful
when there is food around.
He is reportedly 9 years old, although he does
not look or act that age, and does his best to keep up with the
5 young male and female dober-kids in the house. (His former owners
got him from a shelter 2 years ago, so who really knows how old
he is?) Now that he is on a lean and mean diet, Klaus is shedding
some of those excess pounds and feeling more energetic all the
time. This guy is superb, and is more than happy to be a loving
and loyal companion, content to sit beside you for a scratch.
Or, just stick out your hand or toe, and Klaus will slowly scratch
himself, literally for hours. He also loves to chew and chew and
chew on bones and is very cute carrying a bone or ball around
the house.
Klaus will not disappoint the lucky new family that
adopts him -- he will return the kindness with excess to spare!
