Dublin
is a super sweet Senior boy who’s owner surrendered/abandoned/dumped
him to a high volume shelter in South Carolina. The Doberman
Assistance Network pulled him out right before he was supposed
to be euthanized for space. Dublin is a heart melter; everybody
who has met him has loved him. He is very affectionate and
loves to be petted. He is blind on one eye, and the vet
feels that it’s either an old injury or disease process
that has been going on for a long time. Due to the secondary
glaucoma, the vet feels it’s in Dublin’s best
interest to have a procedure that relieves the pressure
in his eye while allowing him to keep it in place. Dublin
gets along great with other dogs but has no history with
cats. Unfortunately, Dublin did test positive for heartworm
and he will begin his treatment after his eye recovers for
a month in a foster home.
