Damien’s owner has fallen on bad times and can no longer
provide food and shelter for him, so dear Damien is currently
in foster care looking for a new home. This 10 year old sweetie
is black/rust, cropped, docked, and neutered. Up until recently,
Damien had received excellent care from his owner. Due to the
turmoil going on around him, Damien developed some lick sores
that went untreated and became very infected. Illinois Doberman
Rescue is now treating these wounds with special medicine and
he should be good to go in no time at all. Damien is very affectionate
and loves to have his head rubbed. He gets along well with adults
and children. He has shown no interest in the cat that is around
him. Damien gets along well with female dogs but does not appear
to care for other male dogs. If you have a spot on your rug for
this big boy (92 pounds) to foster or to adopt please contact
Illinois Doberman Rescue (information below). It is difficult
for his present foster parents to foster him as he does not get
