Dallas!
Dumped at a shelter by his former owner, Dallas is now in foster care with Illinois
Doberman Rescue awaiting his new home. Like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree, Dallas
needs someone to believe in him and see his true beauty. Dallas was adopted through
another rescue organization about 4 1/2 years ago, but was abandoned to animal control
with no reason given.
He is about 7 years old, red/rust, cropped, docked, and neutered. It is apparent that
he did not have a great owner. His coat is very bleached, which could only happen if
he lived outside. With proper nutrition and a warm bed inside next to your fireplace,
he will be happy again and his coat will be shiny again. He has had nothing but the best
manners since arriving at his foster home. He is quiet in the crate, has a wonderful
disposition, and is sweet. He enjoys wiggling his whole butt when someone talks to him.
IDR will place Dobes in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana,
or Wisconsin.
