Damien's owner passed away, so he is currently in foster care with Illinois Doberman Rescue. This sweet 7-year-old male is black and rust, cropped and docked, and neutered. Damien's picture should be in Webster's Dictionary next to the definition of "gentleman." He is a big, sweet, easy, lovable boy who gets along well with his 3 foster sisters and cats. It makes Damien's day to occupy the floor space beside you and he would much prefer to spend the night on a dog-bed beside the bed than in his crate. He walks well on leash and knows basic commands although he is a bit rusty. He can successfully hold a down-stay during meals and proved what a wonderful guy he is during a recent family gathering, where he minded perfectly in a strange house with people all around him and small children playing nearby. He probably did not have much exercise before coming into rescue and is on the lower energy side. Damien deserves a wonderful home where he can share his affection with his family and help him forget that his former owner died. He is 7 years old and cropped and docked. He is in good health, up-to-date on his shots, and house-trained.
