We all must make plans for the inevitable, even the champions of rescue can have unforeseen issues that no one would have prepared themselves for. So is the case for Nora, owned by Judith Fellton, founder of DPCA COPE in 1976 and also founder of Metro Atlanta Doberman Rescue. Judith passed away in November of 2003 and Nora, now 9 years young was placed in the heartbreaking position of finding an appropriate home. When Judith rescued the then young blue girl that had been chained to a front porch most of her life, she adopted Nora herself. Judith responsibly placed Nora with a close friend before her passing, but Nora had to find a new foster home when Judith’s friend moved. You may remember Nora from our February listing of new Dobes, but we are making a special second plea for assistance with Nora. We owe so much to Judith Fellton for all that she gave to Dobes in need.

Nora is a wonderful girl and needs a loving home in which to spend the rest of her life. She has been spayed and is up to date on all vaccinations. She enjoys laying on the bed and running in the front yard. So far, Nora’s tests indicate that she is good with children and other dogs.
