2011! Mr. Hendrix has been adopted!!!
Poor Hendrix at 7 years old has not had the best life. He came to rescue after being seen on a Craig's List as being "free to good home." When Jane of ADPR called about him she'd found out that his current family also got him off Craig's List a year ago. They knew he'd had seizures when they got him but did not realize that he urinated when having the seizures and he was made an "outside dog" so he wouldn't make a mess in house. Poor Hendrix has never seen a vet for his seizures nor has he had any since he came to rescue so he has not been placed on any seizure medication. This time if he has a seizure he will be seen by a vet to evaluate the issue. Hendrix is obese at 110 pounds so he has been placed on a weight loss diet and thyroid supplements for low thyroid levels. He is a very laid back Senior boy, does well with other dogs, and loves all people. Special Needs if any: Inexpensive thyroid meds Geographic areas: Georgia
