Doc
in Atlanta:
Doc is an older gentleman, but full of love and
affection. He came into rescue after spending months in a Tennessee
animal control facility, where he was sent following his owners'
divorce. Doc needs a good home to live out the rest of his life.
He black and tan, docked & cropped, about 9 years old.
Doc is quiet and calm and wants nothing more than
to be by your side or snuggled into a soft dog bed. Give him a
tennis ball or a chew toy, and he's in heaven. He is also a leaner,
as are many Dobermans. Doc is completely vetted, Heartworm negative,
treated for fleas and intestinal parasites.
He is docile and gentle, never aggressive, (except
if a little ankle-biter snaps at his ankles and they deserve a
growl and a snap) and gets along with other dogs. He's really
an "only dog" type of guy, though. He would rather lie
around and be petted than play.
Currently he is in foster care, where he will remain
until he is adopted into his new family. Atlanta Pet Rescue would
prefer Metro Atlanta or surrounding communities as an appropriate
location for Doc's new home.
