Dumped at 10 years young!!  What did I do??

Furgie is a 10 year old senior girl who arrived in a shape the rescue was not expecting. They were first asked to take this girl in and were told she was about 7 years old and the pictures provided Showed a beautiful cropped and docked red girl.  When the owners dropped her off to transport it was discovered she needed medical care.  She was a few years older and had a severe skin infection.  Her poor leg was swollen 3 times the size as it should be and she had a lot of hair missing.  She is a super sweet girl who loves everyone she meets and is doing well with her foster brother.  Over the next coming weeks the vet will be ruling out what all she will need medically for her leg to get better.  She was rushed to the vet as soon as she arrived and is being treated in hope to get not only her leg swelling down but to get her coat back in the shape it should be.
