Danni is a special lady looking for a special home. She found her way to the shelter as a stray, and she has won their hearts over in an instant! Danni is housebroken, quiet as a mouse, gentle, affectionate, good in the car, good with people, good about other dogs, and fine with cats. She’s just a perfect older gal! Danni has some arthritis which is surely natural for a lady in her senior years, but she has lots of love and joy left to share. Danni is 11 years young, black/rust, cropped, docked, and spayed. She is good with other dogs and cats, and can be placed with older or well-behaved children. She is up-to-date with her shots and just needs some tender loving care in her golden years.

Danni's Happy Tale! 07.29.2004

Our dear resident Danni came to the shelter as a stray, in very poor shape. After a good bath, treatment for parasites, and some help for her arthritis, she felt (and looked!) so much better. Danni won our hearts in a moment, and spent most of her time up front in the office with us, and even went home for the weekend with our Director. She went to a local dog and cat “outfitters” for a few days, in hopes of finding a home with a client who loves Dobies. Little did High Tails staff member Tracey know, Danni would prove to be “her dog.” After finding herself alone in the world in her senior years, Danni now has a loving home in which to enjoy every luxury for the rest of her life. She and Tracey are a perfect match!
