Hahahaha!  I can be YOUR laugh a minute!!

Vanilla was picked up as a stray and impounded at a Northern California animal control.  Given her condition it was no surprise she was unclaimed.  This poor girl is badly scarred over much of her rear legs and other parts of her body.  It’s hard to imagine what she endured before being picked up but rescue wasn’t about to turn her down.  Her stamina, musculature, mobility, and weight are remarkably good given what her life must have been like.  She’s now being appreciated for the sassy girl she is and if she decides she wants something she isn’t afraid to tell the other dogs she lives with so - such as her favorite place to sleep should one of them get there first.  She also feels she needs to be fed first because she’s hungry.   She is appreciative of every stroke she receives while being petted and every treat.  After all, these are things she should have received her entire life instead of being bred half to death for the sake of white puppies!
