Traveler! September,
2013!!
Meet 7 year-old Traveler. We don't know anything about him before he came to rescue but he was a little unsteady when first arriving. Now that he's put on weight and has gotten better muscle tone in his rear he has improved greatly. He was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylosis but doesn't have any pain from this condition. He loves going out in the yard and sunning himself but prefers to spend most of his time in the house either on one of the large dog cushions or in his oversized crate. Traveler is an affectionate boy who loves being around people. He is not good with cats and would be best as an only dog as too much rowdy play would not be advisable. He'd be the perfect companion for a family or retired couple who are not interested in hiking or camping. He is very alert and has a big bark which lends him to be a deterrent to anyone skulking around yet he hasn't a mean bone in his body. Special Needs if any: None Geographic areas: CA, NV, WA, OR
