Eight year-old Tessa is a girl with an undeserved black mark on her record but the rescue has found her to be a happy, fun-loving girl and yhey hope she will have a chance for a new home in spite of it. Tessa had a happy home until another female dog was added. One day during a fight between Tessa and the other dog, the owner was bitten while trying to break up the fight. This landed Tessa in a shelter with a “bite” record and her only hope was for a rescue to step in. She has been kenneled with several male dogs without any problem but she would prefer to be an only dog as her focus and happiness is centered in the people around her. Tessa would make someone a very loving companion and the rescue hopes that is in the cards for her.
