Shadow is a tall, elegant, copper-colored Dobie of 7 years with cropped ears that stand beautifully. He is docked, neutered and micro-chipped. He was very thin when we rescued him from one of the large Southern California shelters and was depressed, perhaps pining for his lost owner. He has started to put on some weight and seems to be perking up, though he is a quiet dog that enjoys his comforts.

We believe Shadow to be dog-social, certainly with females dogs and probably with males as well. He is affectionate without being "needy" and we think he would be fine with kids.

Doberman Pinscher Rescue is willing to place Shadow in California or surrounding states. However, the adopter must agree to personally return him to Doberman Pinscher Rescue in the event the adoption does not work out.
