Marcia!
Marcia
Marcia was rescued from a local shelter. She had
been picked up as a stray, but we think she had escaped from her
previous home because she was tired of having puppies! She is
7-8 years old, now spayed, and current on all shots. Marcia had
a difficult spay surgery because her uterus was infected; her
doctor said she would have been very seriously ill in 2-3 weeks
if she had not had the surgery.
Marcia is black/tan, cropped and docked. She has
a wonderful temperament with people, would love to hang out with
someone indoors (preferably on her own couch!) and go for an occasional
stroll around the neighborhood. She would prefer to be an only
dog and cannot live with cats. She would be fine with polite children.
Marcia has had an injury to her right front ankle that is now
healed and is not painful but she walks with a slight limp.

8.30.2005 Marcia's Happy Tails!!
"In February 2005, our home was blessed with
a beautiful female Doberman "Marcia". Marcia now lives
in the town of Sonoma in the beautiful wine country. She has a
big back yard where she can exercise during the day. Marcia rides
with her papa in the wine country during the week, goes on her
daily walks and has her own couch which she shares with her family!
Marcia has also become quite a fishing dog! Marcia is always full
of kisses and happiness! Marcia has brought so much love to our
family and made our family complete, we thank God for her every
day and thank Jim and Joleene Ladyman with the Dog Works Canine
Rescue (Senior Doberman Program) for giving Marcia a second chance!"
