Lucy !
Meet
Miss Lucy!!
Neutrogena Baby sunscreen on my nose, please!
I'd
love to be YOUR Sugar Baby!!
Lucy
came to the Stockton shelter as a stray after being used for breeding
and then dumped on the street to die. She was listed as “rescue
only” because she had masses on her nipples and mammaries.
The masses were removed with most of them coming back as benign
tumors. There was only one mass that came back as tissue sarcoma
but the vet was confident he was able to remove it all. Miss Lucy
was crammed inside a crate or tied up outside her entire life
never stepping foot outside the breeders backyard and never having
lived inside a home. When she first came to rescue was so weak
she had to be carried pretty much everywhere and when she got
stronger was too afraid to walk. At first she would just stay
in her room and not come out but slowly got more comfortable she
began venturing out into the rest of the house. She now becomes
very excited about going for walks. After two months in the rescue
she has come alive but is still a bit shy in new places. She just
needs a home with lots of love, time, and patience. If given this
Lucy can become the perfect companion. .
Special Needs if any: None.
Geographic Areas: Southern
California
