Khyber was adopted several years ago with a companion dobe and recently came back because of the adopter’s ill health. Khyber’s past adopter would sometimes take him on hikes off leash into the hills and the rescue would sometimes get calls when someone would find him and get the information off his ID tag number.   Clearly he’s a bit of a free spirit so it might be best to walk him on leash.  He’s now 7 years old and is good with dogs, cats, and kids.  This charming guy is not destructive and the hope is to find him a new home where he can stay for the rest of his days.  He did come back to the rescue significantly overweight so that is being worked on.
