Jitterbug!
This is Jitterbug, a red Doberman who is 8 years new, although she acts half her age!
She is absolutely stunningly beautiful, but her pictures don't do her justice.
She was left in a kennel because her elderly owner could no longer care for her.
She has always been an indoor dog and has now recently been rescued from the kennel
and taken to the Doberman Pinscher Rescue in Fillmore, CA, where she is housed outside
in a concrete play area.
Jitterbug is cropped and docked, spayed, current on vaccinations, and house trained.
Her health check showed low thyroid, for which meds were prescribed, and she may need
medication for minor incontinence. She is a bit overweight, which can be easily remedied
by a healthy diet, the thyroid medicine, and some exercise. Jitterbug loves women and
bonds quickly; she is also very good with men, children older than 10, and she gets along
great with other dogs but we don't yet know how she feels about kitties. Jitterbug may
need a bit of remedial obedience training, as she was previously allowed to get her way
by using her gorgeous eyes and signature whimper. Isn't that a classic DoberGirl trick!?!
Please help Jitterbug find her perfect forever home! She gives kisses abundantly and
craves to be loved and hugged in return. She deserves a pampered lifestyle, especially
after spending such a long time in a kennel waiting for her ill owner to recover.
Doberman Pinscher Rescue is willing to place Jitterbug in California
or surrounding states. However, the adopter must agree to personally
return him to Doberman Pinscher Rescue in the event the adoption
does not work out.
