Meet the adorable, sweet, and heartbreaking Dillon. At 7 years old he and his companion, a younger female Doberman were surrendered to a shelter after his owner sustained and injury that left him unable to care for his dogs. The younger dobie girl was adopted from the shelter but poor Dillon was left behind so the shelter reached out to DALP rescue to help him. Dillon wears a heartbreaking expression but is actually quite handsome. He is sensitive and appreciates calm people, comfortable bedding, and lots of great naps. He has some arthritis and doesn’t always do well on slick floors but has handled the vinyl flooring in his foster home without problems. Dillon is not destructive, very social with other dogs and all people, and most likely housebroken. All he wants is a big comfy bed and someone to love him.
