Chopper captures the hearts and souls of all who meet him. He’s such a great boy that the rescue folks jokingly told us they are looking for someone who walks on water to adopt him. (At least we think they’re joking!)

This boy, along with a female and their two sons, are victims of a cross-country job relocation that didn't work as planned. After his previous humans arrived in Southern California and could not find affordable housing where they could keep their dogs, they were forced to surrender the entire Dobe family to Doberman Pinscher Rescue.

Chopper is 7 years old, red and rust, neutered, and has no known medical needs or conditions. He has a docked tail and natural ears. Chopper is larger than most DoberBoys, but he’s such a sweet, well-mannered and mellow guy that his size should not be an issue. He's good with all other large dogs that aren't overly dominant, and he's also good with cats. He's affectionate, happy, and demanding in a pleasant way.
