Blue Max arrived at the rescue right before his owner put him to sleep because he didn’t want him anymore. Max had spent most of his life outdoors but other then being a little underweight he’s in surprisingly good health. Since he’s a little hand-shy and insecure - the rescue is thinking he’s been handled roughly. He is good with other dogs and cats, well behaved in the house, and uses the doggie door without problems. Max seems to bark when he’s lonely. He’s easy to walk and would make a great dog for someone who’s retired.
