Alexis!
Alexis is an 8-year-old, black and tan Doberman who was returned from her long-term
home because they now have two infants, and Alexis is anxious and unpredictable with
tiny tots. She has soft ears and is docked, spayed, microchipped, and has no known
health issues.
Alexis is on the small side and she is elegant and beautiful. She's housebroken,
obedience trained, non-destructive, and very affectionate. She loves to snuggle,
take rides in the car, go in the ocean, go to dog parks, and she's used to sleeping
in the house. Alexis is not recommended for a home with small dogs or cats, but she
is OK with large dogs. She's very smart, and she's a good, protective watchdog.
Doberman Pinscher Rescue is willing to place Dobermans in California
or surrounding states. However, the adopter must agree to personally
return the dog to Doberman Pinscher Rescue in the event the adoption
does not work out.
