Julie comes to DRI from a shelter in NJ. She is a female doberman black and tan with natural ears and a docked tail. Julie's owner passed away and unfortunately Julie ended up in the shelter. A shelter or rescue is no place for an awesome dog like Julie! She would make an excellent companion to someone looking for a well mannered low maintenance dog. Julie is housebroken and OK with her previous homes 3 year old grandaughter, and OK with some dogs. Julie is almost 8 years old, but still quite playful. She loves to go for walks and explore. She knows sit and gives paw and loves to play fetch. She enjoys being petted and is quite gentle and sweet. She is really an awesome dog with many good years left in her! Julie is very sweet and well mannered. She loves to go for walks and be near people. She knows basic commands.
